Miss Rupa Kanabar launches the highly anticipated
‘Miss Real Beauty’ pageant.
With over eight years experience in the modelling
and pageant industry and as a successful business
owner, Rupa Kanabar brings a fresh new exciting
dimension to the beauty pageant industry.
In her own words:
"My vision for the Miss Real Beauty pageant is to
celebrate the spirit of beauty for real women across
the UK in all shapes and sizes. The program exists
to embrace beauty in all shapes and sizes, to break down self-limiting beauty
stereotypes and inspire women to have the confidence to be comfortable with
themselves.
It's our collective
responsibility if we want to see the fashion industry broaden its parameters,
its time to prove to a panel of industry experts they all have an equal chance
and have what it takes to be a mainstream pageant winner.
The programme
generates discussion on how we in society ‘qualify’ in our mind those in all
shapes and sizes, or those who are considered to have a disability and/or those
who are pregnant.
The pageant looks to work with a number of charities and highlights the importance of women's
education by funding the Miss Real Beauty title
holder’s study course at college/university or post
graduate program - we are the first in the UK
industry to offer such an opportunity.
The program
enables women in the UK to do things they never
dreamed of doing… It’s an opportunity to make your
mark on this world as a powerful, visible and
credible spokeswoman for the Miss Real Beauty
program. Miss Real Beauty represents the
highest ideals… she is a real combination of beauty,
grace, intelligence and reflects a tradition of
style, sophistication and service. She is a true
inspiration to women throughout the UK.

is a competition to win the prestigious Miss Real Beauty
title, and the prizes are high, there is no ideal
or stereotype to confirm to... simply enter and have
